Vladimir was born on the 13th of August, 1971 in Gusev, Kaliningrad area, and lived there with his father, mother, sister and brother until he graduated from school. In his childhood he did boxing.

After that, he graduated from the Kronshtad navy school, and sailed the North and Baltic seas.

After the navy, he returned home. Like he says himself, all of his life he loved to watch movies. And once upon a time, he got ready and left to Moscow to apply to VGIK. He was 25 then. After finishing the preparatory courses, Vladimir successfully got in to the course of Georgiy Georgievich Taratorkin.

While still being a student he started filming in movies - he had small parts, and main parts. He was filming simultaneously the serial "Grazhdanin Nachalnik" and the movie "Brigada".

He was also a part of the Mossoviet theatre, and now he works in the National academic theatre carrying a name after E.Vakhtangov, and successfully performs on the stage of that theatre.

Has a son and a daughter.

Diplomas, awards:
2003 - Diploma for acting work in professional cinematography (23 International VGIK Festival for his role in "Bumer").

Nominations:
2003 - Nomination "Best male character" for a "Zolotoy Oven"("Golden Aries") award (along with A.Merzlikin, S.Gorobchenko and M.Konovalov for their roles in "Bumer").
2002 - Nomination "Fatal Male" for a "Chaika"("Seagull") theatrical award (for his role in "Tsarskaya Ohota").
